My wife is 10 weeks pregnant and we're trying to decide what to do. Both of us are currently unvaxxed, but she's leaning towards getting vaxxed now due to hearing about pregnant women being at higher risk.
What's the risk to normal healthy 35 year olds? Can anyone find stats on chance of sever symptoms for someone in this age grouping?
Can anyone pull stats on exactly how much more at risk pregnant women and their fetuses are if they catch Covid?
Any stats on severe adverse reactions to the vaccine for pregnant women and the fetus?
Everything I find only says they're at heightened risk, but I want that risk quantified. Does it substantially change the odds for the mother and baby or not? I'd love to see some easily digestible data, but have had a hard time quantifying anything. All articles speak in generic terms, and I imagine it's on purpose.
