Would as many people take the vaccine knowing:

1) Its benefits quickly wane?

https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/public-health/nearly-60-of-hospitalized-covid-19-patients-in-israel-fully-vaccinated-study-finds.html

2) You can still carry the virus and transmit as much as unvaccinated persons?

https://www.bmj.com/content/374/bmj.n2074

3) You need boosters within 6 months?

https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20210805/moderna-says-boosters-may-be-needed-after-6-months

4) There is a real risk of myocarditis for young men and increased blood clot risk?

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2782900

5) Young females will be at risk of altered menstrual cycles without scientific explanation of why?

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/08/09/1024190379/covid-vaccine-period-menstrual-cycle-research

6)You still have to wear your mask.

you should go do your own research on your 6 points so you know what you are talking about .. I would start with actually reading the articles you cited.

Well, I still recommend the vaccine to those who haven't gotten it, so...yes.

I wish everyone had taken it cause then our hospitals would have 95-95% less covid patients in them and, though covid would still be here, it would be like a cold and masking and any limitations would go away.

Each of the articles or studies support the stated assertion and every assertion contradicts "vaccine facts" from January. I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm just amazed how much new information we are still learning about effectiveness and side affects.

I wish everyone would exercise, eat right, and maintain a healthy weight, which would have made Covid like the common cold from the beginning. People choose their fates by and large.

Knowing what we know now, people at risk should be vaccinated and those not at risk don't need it.

But what we know doesn't matter much. We know what we know now and people are still trying to force children to strap pieces of cloth their their faces that provide no protection from a virus that they need no protection from.

Okay... what the hell does that have to do with the vaccine and your questions?

You said "I wish everyone had taken the vaccine" and I replied "I wish everyone had taken care of themselves" to illustrate we can't control other people and we don't always get what we want. The best solution is to let people decide for themselves and to live with the consequences of their choices.

Okay, 1. I would still take vaccine, because it is effective in lessening chances of getting covid and is very effective in preventing severe cases; 2 I wish everyone would take better care of themselves and 3; I wish everyone would take the vaccination.

Is that better?

at this point, given what we know about the odds of becoming hypoxic with the vax as opposed to without in the middle of the delta wave, you've got to be a pretty big fool to take that chance without protection

That's awesome. We mostly agree. I just don't think forcing people to eat healthy, exercise, or get vaccines is good policy even if it would be good for the individual.

If he were alive and knew the future, I bet he'd get the vaccine. Similarly, smokers always say they wish they hadn't smoked when they get cancer and overweight people always say they wish they'd taken better care of themselves when they get diabetes or heart disease. In America, we get to make decisions for ourselves for better or worse. Everyone who wants the vaccine has had it. Let's move on.

How does this have 9 likes? Knowing what we know now, the vaccine is still super effective despite the variant changing some of the rules.

His family says he wanted others to get the vaccine after getting sick. He doesn't look obese in the photo in this article. Is it not an accurate picture of his size?

I must have missed the part where I said anyone was "forced" to do anything. Man you take huge leaps and constantly move the target.

Super effective? 60% of all hospitalizations in Israel are vaccinated. They are a month or two ahead of us in terms of vaccinations. Pfizer is 36% effective against delta. What other "vaccine" in the history of vaccines has such a poor track record? And we are only 7 months in to vaccinations.

You understand none of those other things are contagious right? It's a pretty big part of this equation to pretend isn't a factor.

But the vaccine protects you from the virus.Taking the vaccine is like watching your weight. You can choose to do it or not. Those who watch their weight are no more affected by a fat person than a person who gets vaccinated should worry about someone who doesn't. Take care of yourself. Get the vaccine. Stop worrying about others.Or are you saying the vaccine is so ineffective that those who take it are still at serious risk from the virus?
