I pretty much just started reading this forum because my 21 year old cousin was just admitted to a mental hospital for covid psychosis. She is probably considered obese and she was not vaccinated. I would like to ask 2 questions for the board to discuss.

1. Any chance she returns to normal and has a normal life?

2. Is the reason for such high percentages of hospital admits of unvaccinated people because the hospitals do not test vaccinated people for covid?

Thanks internet experts!

Can you elaborate on what, precisely constitutes "covid psychosis?"

She sits and stares at the wall for hours and says she doesn't remember here name or birthday etc... I never heard of it before. Never had any preexisting mental problems that I knew of.

Your cousin is a he and a she? Mental problems might not be COVID related.

I'm not sure how question 2 can be a serious question. Have you ever been to a doctor? If you have the symptoms of a disease, they will try to figure out if you have it. You had the take a lot of wrong turns in logic to ask that question.

Never heard of this. Sounds like a pre-existing issue is being blamed on covid.

I have heard of this before:

NY Times Daily podcast did an episode on it where they interviewed the guy.

It's relatively lazy for her doctor to attribute this to Covid as there is absolutely no way to prove that. People have developed psychosis hundreds of years before anyone ever heard of Covid.
