Someone I know is leaving the country tomorrow but doesn't want to get the vaccine before because they said their doctor told them that he recommended they wait because it could skew the results of the antigen test getting back to the states.

Is this true?

No it can not. They do not carry any live virus....have him/her google any of the vaccines and that exact question if need be.
