All, I saw a thread a few weeks back discussing treatment regiment to somewhat clear up long term covid symptoms. Does anyone have a good link? I recall it involved ivermectin?

Apologies, but my ability to search the site is apparently lacking and I'm going to blame long term covid for it.

Is there any scientific basis for COVID causing (or greatly exacerbating?) a gluten allergy? My wife is 38 and had COVID in late Feb. Since about April she has had the squirts in some form or fashion. In the last month plus we have dialed in the diet and now are 98% sure it's gluten based. Not sure how a 38 year old just up and gets a gluten allergy. Previously she has not been the most regularly (very mild IBS type, and has previously had her gall bladder and appendix removed). She has sworn by probiotics for the last few years as something that regulates her. May have always been mils gluten allergy?

Just odd and I'm wondering if I'm off base for drawing this connection, even if it has taken me months to do so.

I know quite a few people who developed a gluten allergy in their thirties, so there is not necessarily a connection.

Gastro issues appear to be a pretty common symptom for people with covid. Maybe it will go away eventually on its own.
