When is this one supposed to be available nationwide? This is the only one I am willing to take. I refuse to take any of the rest.

Does it involve less risk than the current ones? I have not heard of this.BAP Enthusiast said:

Because I won't inject mRNA into my body and refuse to use vaccines developed from aborted fetuses.

10 bucks says you have already and don't know about it.
This is interesting. Did you just look at the raw results or did you find a good summary of comparison?Rex Racer said:oldflyer said:

I should have put the source.FlowCtlr said:This is interesting. Did you just look at the raw results or did you find a good summary of comparison?Rex Racer said:oldflyer said:

The ones that were rolled out first were the companies who were best at getting through the clinical trials efficiently. This concept is described in the Atlantic article.texan12 said:
efficacy of this vaccine is about the same as the mRNA ones, it's easier to distribute, and is developed similar to previous common vaccines. Why was this vaccine not rolled out first?

This would be the only vaccine I would consider taking but it doesn't look like it will be in the US for awhile. There's is an oversupply/lack of demand for the other brand of vaccines already here, so they likely won't add another one, even know it is different from the others.
It doesn't use the virus at all.texan12 said:
It is weird that even this board doesn't really acknowledge it considering it's effectiveness. Although I'd expect the news not to cover it since they had to sell mRNA pretty hard. Would testing results be thrown off since it uses an actual virus? Would a booster not be required until quite some time later (like tetanus)?
Hep B, Pertussis (whooping cough) and Mono vaccines use the tech. Been around since the '80s.texan12 said:
My bad. Is it akin to any other vaccines out there?
