How long after COVID until being vaccinated?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
My parents, both in their 80's, tested positive just before Christmas and both have co-morbitities, but have recovered well with no hospitalization and no treatment other than Doc Rev's vitamin cocktails and OTC meds.

The question is whether or not they should be getting the vaccine now, or what time should pass between the end of their symptoms finishing (now about 3 weeks) and getting their vaccinations?

Thanks in advance for one more helping hand from those on this board!

Thanks! I thought I'd seen it, but couldn't find it again.

I would say minimum of 3 wks. Preferably a month or two to minimize adverse reactions.
