I had one mother of a patient whose whole family currently has COVID and now she is starting to show symptoms state "I'm not worried, I already know I'm immune since I got the COVID back in September."

Masks have no benefit at all.

There are countless of people on F16 who say they got COVID back in December, September, January, etc. - how do you docs stay quiet with that misinformation that so many feed off each other?

I know, rhetorical question as they argue and tell docs on there they are wrong all the time. Just don't see how y'all stay quiet - but, I know that has to go with your profession. I keep quiet a lot when people have lots of wrong info on agriculture.

In the office during a visit you listen to the story, explain why it is unlikely that a small town farmer in East TX got COVID in December, for example. Not much time spent on that because it really has no impact on today. Until they start asking for the antibody test which launches another discussion. Nearly every day it happens. Try to tell pts to not get medical info from Facebook. Cesspool of bad info.

People love to think they had it months ago for some reason. Many people love to talk about how sick they were or what terrible things they have had - not just COVID. I think some are convinced they can ignore common sense since they are immune. It also confirms the mindset of I had it, It is no big deal. Which it usually is no big deal. Until it is.

It is amazing and frustrating how much further behind I am in the office the past couple of months, it is important to discuss all these issues and can easily add 5 minutes or more per visit. Multiply it out through the day and
