Covid-19 really plays hell with funerals.
My oldest brother passed away Thursday afternoon (not from covid-19). The funeral (graveside only) is on Monday. I don't know if anyone is coming from more than 20 miles away. As far as I know, noone in the family who lives more than twenty miles from the church is coming.
Normally, after a funeral there is a meal at the church for everyone who wishes to stay. I don't think that we're doing that.
I was thinking we could possibly have a small family get together in Guymon, Ok, afterwards, but with something like one case for every twenty two or so residents in the county, that seems awfully iffy. Also, since my oldest brother's wife is in her late 70s, we really don't want to take a chance on exposing her to it anyway.
So it looks like we'll just get in our own cars and return home after the service.
