How long do you want to ignore this user?
Is anyone on Texags selling these or have a source for them? My brother in law is Dallas firefighter and working the Covid-19 drive up testing site. He was saying how his ears have been killing him. I was trying to source some for him and his fellow coworkers. I don't have access to a 3D printer and most places are 2-4 weeks out for shipping. I'm just trying to get him something sooner.

Would paracord work?

Cut a length that pulls the bands off the ears and wraps behind the head.

Just a thought until some can be sourced.

Ag_of_08 is making these for EMS, according this thread. Maybe you can get in contact and get something worked out.

I'm 3d printing them for our nurses here. Lots of designs available if access to someone with 3d printer.

I will not sell them, but if you give me an email address I will get in touch and send some. I got 3more kg of filament in past night, and will have the printer going tuesday morning.

Another suggestion in a pinch I've seen the use blousing straps. Not as adjustable or easy to clean.

**edit**

I'm shipping out to a friend at Stanford, a friend in Cali on EMS, and a nurse in Houston tomorrow. I have about 30 made that are promised locally, and will probably be ready to ship again Thursday or Friday if the printer keeps behaving itself going forward. So I'm probably 3-4 days out. And shipping them 30-50 at a time.

How many kg of filament are you using per batch?

I'd have to go into the slicer and look again, but not much. I've gotten a filament standoff guide, and several hundred off this spool( I'm at about 300 I think...maybe more. Normal 1kg spool). I need to move the filament guide I'm using down so it feed with less tension, and I'll probably get another build plate.

Running a Tevo Tornado and hatchbox PLA. I have a creality ender 3, but it was mod upgrade when imelda hit and I haven't jacked with it again

Just pulled up Cura, 50g of plastic per build plate is the estimate, which is pretty generous. Means my guess of about 300 is right, they should cost about .07$(power usage is minimal, especially with an AC bed) each to make. 6hr for a 15 count build plate. I thought about trying to do a double batch with the stacked and supports, but there's to much risk of that failing and wasting time/breaking my nozzle.

I wont get 900 more made while they're needed most likely, but I will keep slogging until I quit getting requests.

Nai I work tonight, so will be asleep in the next hour or so. If you don't hear from me until much later that's why.
