We are in College Station but have a house just south of Parker Elem. Would love to hear any updates for the area.
Where are you coming from? I have limited knowledge about what roads are passable. However, my wife and a co-worker made it from our house by Parker to the med center around 10:30am today by taking Willowbend all the way to Main then Main on in to the med center. Maybe that gives you some help for a plan of attack.dshedd41 said:
My wife and I are thinking of coming home Wednesday and wanted to know the best route to get to Creekbend?
I can't help with an exact route from Quail Valley, but I live on Cheena right next to St. Thomas More and can tell you that nearly every street in the area is driveable except some parts of Braeswood. I was able to get out and drive around earlier today looking for an open grocery store and was freely able to go between South Post Oak and Fondren and from West Belfort to Rutherglenn. Most of the streets in this area were flooded over the sidewalks Sunday morning, but they've drained since then and the majority are still clear, even after the steady rain all day today.RebelE Infantry said:
Does anyone know if there's a route to get into the St. Thomas More area (hillcroft and wigton). I may need to evac from Quail Valley in the morning and that's where my parents live.
Hey me too. My grandma is over on Lymbar by Meyerland. Not sure yet if she's flooded. She's at my dad's houseKSmith11 said:
I am a CPA.
I have just helped enough family members to know the drill after flooding.
