We are in College Station but have a house just south of Parker Elem. Would love to hear any updates for the area.

Should be good unless you're closer to W Bellfort. My parents live on Briarbend. Street didn't really flood. Atwell was impassable at one point, but Mullins stayed pretty clear.

Video near Westbury HS last night was not good. We have a house in Meyerland and I would estimate water level at around 5 to 6 feet high 3 blocks from S Braeswood.

My parents were at a 2 story home at Chimney Rock and Loch Lomond 3 blocks from Brays bayou. Sunday morning had 1-2 feet of water throughout house and they waited all day for a rescue boat or helicopter. They decided to stay one more night and made arrangements with a boat to pick them up first thing Monday morning.

Monday morning water had fully receded and they drove home.

I am in the 4900 block (behind the jack in the box and church) and there was at least 3 feet of water in every house yesterday on my block. The only ones that made it were rebuilds that had built up. Anything between me and the bayou would have been worse. As another point of reference, we walked to kilter today and the water line was about 2 feet in the school.

Based on what I saw, whatever water level happened to you on the Memorial Day flood, add two feet to that.

I'm at 5800 Belrose. Water was crazy high on Saturday but it receded last night.

It's rained day here but so far the streets are draining it.

Does anyone know if there's a route to get into the St. Thomas More area (hillcroft and wigton). I may need to evac from Quail Valley in the morning and that's where my parents live.

We're just south and east of Parker and have been fine. Streets flooded the first day or two, but have receded since then. I think they should be fine in that area.

We are on 5200 block of Queensloch. Our home had never flooded before Harvey.

For reference, the base of those box windows are about 20" from grade. Our neighbor thinks we had about 10" in the house. Headed back tomorrow to assess the damage.

sorry to hear that man. Had nobody flooded on Queenloch the last two times? I know they had south of you.

Never.

The first time on our street. There was flooding where our street turns into Cedarhurst, but never our side.

Tax day flood came up to the sidewalk which is about 30' from the front door. The fact that it didn't flood on Memorial Day was one of the reasons we bought the home in July 2015.

4300 block of McDermed in Willow Meadows. Dry so far, though street flooding has intermittently cut off access. I'm watching from Dallas and hope tonight's rain doesn't change our luck.

Sorry to hear it. Just been a terrible storm. Hopefully Meyerland can recover. I know people are beat down by these last three flooding events.

If we've had 3 massive flood events in 3 year, it's hard to call it a 100 year flood anymore and they probably should actually fix the drainage instead of empty promises.

5200 block of Lymbar. Water was literally an inch away from coming in. Ended up receding and we are dry for the time being.

For those looking for a reference of the water level this is a live feed from Valkeith and Milbury.

Where are you coming from? I have limited knowledge about what roads are passable. However, my wife and a co-worker made it from our house by Parker to the med center around 10:30am today by taking Willowbend all the way to Main then Main on in to the med center. Maybe that gives you some help for a plan of attack.

I can't help with an exact route from Quail Valley, but I live on Cheena right next to St. Thomas More and can tell you that nearly every street in the area is driveable except some parts of Braeswood. I was able to get out and drive around earlier today looking for an open grocery store and was freely able to go between South Post Oak and Fondren and from West Belfort to Rutherglenn. Most of the streets in this area were flooded over the sidewalks Sunday morning, but they've drained since then and the majority are still clear, even after the steady rain all day today.

From what I can tell in conversations with our neighbors, you're probably in good shape if your house drains south to Willow Waterhole.

I'm south of Willowbend off Cliffwood in a low spot and we're fine but for a few instances of it getting over the curb this weekend.

Hi All--

My name is Kevin Smith (Class of 2011). My wife, daughter and myself live in Westbury. By the Grace of God, our house was able to avoid flooding through Harvey.

As the storm lightens, I am getting anxious to help my fellow Ags. If your house has flooded, please let me know if you help cutting Sheetrock, ripping out carpet, or just need to vent while we get your house on the road to recovery. Also, if you're out of town and would like to swing by your house to do a visual inspection, I can offer that up as well.

Cell: Nine seven nine -777-two seven two three

Thanks,
Kevin

The Target store at Meyerland plaza is open and has some stuff-- no fresh food, but some frozen stuff and snacks and lots of cleaning supplies. the plaza is accessible from all sides. I was happy to be able to get some coffee and other stuff.

Just made it back home from Austin. Took 290E --> 99N --> 249S --> 290E --> 610S and was able to exit at Post Oak and down to our house off Chimney Rock/W Bellfort. Didn't encounter and high water or slow downs at any point.

Word of warning - I stopped around Waller to top of my gas tank and tried 3 different stations but they were all out.

Foodarama and Beldens are both open.

I can't be sure but I think Kroger was finally opened as well.

Do you do this professionally? I've got a family member who's out of work and eager to get a job that would also help with the disaster relief.

I am a CPA.

I have just helped enough family members to know the drill after flooding.

Thanks for offering assistance.

I might need some guidance on how to remediate. This is the first time for us.

I plan on getting to the house in the morning, but already have a neighbor go and crank the AC down.

Hey me too. My grandma is over on Lymbar by Meyerland. Not sure yet if she's flooded. She's at my dad's house

Biggest Advice: Document, Document, Document

Then: Rip our carpet and cut out dry wall above flood line so your walls can dry out. (Make sure you measure and document floodline)

My offer is still on the table for anybody needing help. Contact is above.
