Geez. The political hack reporters on TWC interviewing the Dept of Homeland Security. Folks are worried about people being able to cross from Mexico into Texas to avoid the storm (wrong direction), as well as what Trump is going to do.

Just got new update and changed somewhat (surprise). Now shows back into Gulf on Monday, but second landfall around Victoria Tuesday so no longer showing it coming toward Galveston. Means less wind next week, but keeps us on dirty side whole week. Shows the low reaching College Station area around Friday.

Now talking 2-3 inches per day until Tuesday and 3-5 inches per day Wednesday/Thursday.

Actually don't think will be that bad Sunday. Storm will just be sitting down in Corpus then sending up bands of rain. Model I have shows Sunday to be the least active day here, before starts ramping up again.

Where are you seeing this Victoria projection?
Weather.com and NHC are still showing the Galveston projection.

As mentioned earlier where I work we have a paid service that is providing us forecasting information to make operational decisions. This was the 3pm update. Many facilities on ship channel do this.
