Those ice-brewed beers are a one-way ticket to the worst hangover imaginable. The economical choice, though. Cheaper than light beers and gets twice as many people ****ed up.

My freshman year it seemed as if every house party I went to had Icehouse kegs. At the time it was fine, but looking back... that's a bad beer.

Do they still brew Icehouse or any "Ice" beer? Don't see them if they do.

You're right, it did lead to some bad hangovers, especially when you start drinking scotch midway through the night.

Black Label

I liked Mamba. I also liked Keystone Light.

2. BEER <- There was a beer in college that was a white can and had "BEER" in black. Adam was that the Black Label?!

Pad - Schaeffers... I lived on those things. Must be an acquired taste, or a lack of willingness to admit I liked cheap crappy beer.

Best Beer:

Spaten Oktoberfest < - Ross... you're killing me... I can almost... almost taste it. mmm... Beer.

Elephant Beer is pretty good too.

Beer in my fridge:

NONE.

I it may have been Carlig's (?) Black Label.

Schaeffer's was $5 a case back in the day

corona is the skunkiest beer ever made, it should not take a lime to make a beer taste good, for those of you that like corona try SOL it tastes like corona would if it was not skunky and if you have to add a lime it dont taste bad either....

Anyone else grow up in South Texas in the 70's to 80's. Remember the HEB generic brew, white can with big black letters "BEER" it was so nasty we wouldn't even steal it from the old guy next door.

Also, it's not around anymore but Pearl used to have an "undergrade" cheaper beer called "Kassel". It was like $4 per case. It tasted like turpentine filtered through cow sheit.

Corona isnt horrible, but a lime is an important part of the process.

I'm not a huge Fat Tire fan- has a weird after taste to it.

But I'll agree with you about Fat Tire. I have a lot of friends that really like it (we used to always hit up the Flying Saucer for $2.50 Fat Tire pints on Tuesdays) but it just has a strange taste that I could never get into. It's been a while since I've had one but I think I remember thinking that it tasted like dirt.

Yeah, my brother's friend got a keg of Bud Ice not too long ago. There were fallen soldiers everywhere by the time that thing was floated.

I don't know if I'll get ripped for this, but Heiken (sp?) is horrible. That and I had Red Stripe the other night so it might be a tie between those 2 for the worst.

I persoanlly thought the Fat Tire name was very indicative of the taste.

Worst Hangover from beer - Bud Ice hands down

Thoses BI keg parties were awful the next day. You'd choke the first 3-4 down real quick b/c they tasted awful. Then when you got a buzz they started going down more smoothly. THen Wham, you're s h i t faced. That hangover always sucked.

by that same token though, get the girls your with to start drinking that ice beer and before you know it...

Yea, I've heard the same from other folks, but I'm just not a fan. Then again, I'm not really a fan of dark beer outside of a couple of anomalies (Ziegenbock, Shiner).

I'm not an expert, but out of the ones I've had so far in life:

Worst - Corona... It smells like roadkill and tastes like skunk juice

Heineken has this funky aftertaste but I wouldn't rate it worst.
