i hate to be negative, but ....

ray...... needs to work on his curve ball,..he left the curve ball hanging to the ND batter and he crushed it. he also left the curve ball hanging against the washington batter,..and they scored a run off of that(or 2)

whelan,....he can't just throw fastballs and expect the batters to strike out. his consistency needs to improve.

other than that,..the pitching is stellar. meyer, corgan and chambless,...obvious

hitting,...stein and sebek,..true freshmen,..both can rip with the best of them

boggs is still struggling a little,..but he is showing signs of improvement,..and i am confident he will get it going.

infante...i think he will continue to struggle all season and mj is trying to get glover some at bats,...even pinch hitting for infante in the texas st game.

by the way,..the ND starter,..thornton ....he was a disaster waiting to happen. his stuff was really mediocre.

overall, the team looks good,...pitching looks good,..hitting looks good,,.... to say the least,..im satisfied.

for those that are struggling right now,..i am pretty sure that the majority of them will get it into gear.

again,..this team can be very potent.

Whelan has got a slider too, I'm pretty sure.

Infante has got the potential, as does everybody else. We showed last year that our team can hit. There's no reason why the same guys can't hit this year too.

One thing I've really liked so far this season is that our bunting has improved ____ly. I can't even think of an adverb to describe how much better it is.

i was just pointing out that whelan threw , i believe 4 straight fastballs to that batter,...and he hit the 4th one....that is all.
