Great question....
GSc stands for "Game Score" which is a number that is intended to show a pitcher's dominance in a game. It's not a perfect measuring tool (for example, I think it should also include HBP) but it's quick and easy and for all effective purposes pretty representative. I really like it.
A 50-55 GSc is a solid start deserving of a win, a 55 is a good start, a 60-65 is a very good start and anything above 65 is excellent. The highest GSc recorded in the major leagues was Kerry Wood's 20 K, 1 hit, 0 walk, complete game, shutout in '98 (he had a GSc of 104).
