I've been critical of Earley as a Head Coach, but he
proved a lot this year.

Watching the sips makes me even more grateful he didn't follow the snake to t.u.
Can you imagine how good their bats would be with him being their hitting coach.

Excited for the future of Aggie baseball with Enright coaching the pitchers.

If he improves as much from this year to next as he did from last year to this one we should be set for a deep run in Omaha. Won't be easy to replace three high round draft picks but in the age of portal who knows.

Now I'll step aside for the doomers to get their licks in.

Tell me where we were ranked at the beginning of the year vs how we finished up. Tell me what our post season success looked liked compared to last year. It's one thing to be be critical and not like the coach which is understandable. But there is also a level of pragmatism that should be involved in the conversation.

Really what? It was the weirdest timing ever for a thread to be started about being grateful for a coach who has not delivered based on expectations after 2 years.

I like him enough and hope he succeeds because he isn't going anywhere any time soon, but this thread is weird.

I just remember the picture of the four of them right after it was announced and he did not look happy. The other three did. Now he's not the biggest smiley guy to begin with, but it just always gave me the vibes of. "I'm not really liking this but I have a family and I need to keep my job and I guess this is where I'm going."

Now I'm sure he would've done his best there. I'm not saying that he wouldn't have, but I think he was very happy to be able to come back here and of course, being elevated to a head coaching position is always a good thing.

He's not very expressive at all. Almost robotic. I can't tell if he's even 'in the game' about half the time.

His biggest issues last year were game management and trying to manage everything. This year, he improved SIGNIFICANTLY(still has some issues), and he coached hitting. Our team got 40 wins because of that. However, our pitching cost us an "easy" regional like tu had. TU had 19 conference wins, and we had 18. That Oklahoma seriously cost us down the road. Now, what I neglected to mention was our abysmal performance against USC. However, if we didn't screw ourselves against OU, our bats would've had more time to "get right". Doesn't make the way the season ended any better, however, it gives me some optimism for Earley.

And you think sloshbutt is expressive? He always looks like he's about to take a ***** And it was funny watching him last night seeing how badly they played.
