I've been impressed by UNC's starting pitching this weekend. Still doesn't change my mind that they beat us if we got there IMO. But would've at least loved to find out by getting there

Totally agree with that statement he was not trying to be the hero. He just got the job done. I love our stud bats but many times at the end. It seems like they were trying to be the hero instead of just get the job done.

Only who he chose to replace him, unless their bullpen is entirely used up. Had to pull the closer who couldn't throw a strike and could only throw a fastball in the vicinity of the plate.

Good point. The walk to the prior batter put the winning run in scoring position, which basically forced the outfielders to play in. Which just reinforces bad things happen when you give free passes.

That was nearing as bad as Arkansas's missed pop fly years ago in the title game. Or maybe Arky's was even worse technique.

This one was a hard play. I thought the hog one was an easy play that should have been made.

That ball was hit in the perfect spot. Should it have been caught? Maybe. LF was there a little before him so probably his ball but that ball is coming back into them right by a net. Just a tough spot and would have been an underrated catch had someone caught it.
