His in game shenanigans and it filtering down to how his players act on the field and dugout is the major rub for most. Which is an entirely valid viewpoint, IMO.
I am not the biggest fan of his ******ry he can exhibit in a game, but I'll repeat what I said on the CWS thread way back when. I will always respect a coach that has his dudes backs, no matter what. Vitello definitely does.
Out of game circumstances, he seems perfectly fine and even likable at times. So maybe it is just a switch in his head. Some people you just get two sides that make up the whole coin and it is what it is. With what he can do with a team like ours, it's absolutely worth it and it really shouldn't even be debatable. Plus, let's be adults here. He can be an ass at times, but it is nothing super crazy or psychotic or anything like that. Run of the mill ass hole stuff which is pretty easy to stomach if the W's keep rolling.

He supposedly met with some reps from the Razorback Foundation shortly before accepting the Giants job for whatever reason. But the timing would have to align perfectly and they likely aren't going to push DVH out to make it happen. It's close to home for him though being from Missouri.

Stars are aligning for this to happen. Facilities should be in place by then. Earley remains his own worst enemy after two years in a row of being unable to motivate his players in the big moments. A&M will upset some teams next year and have the occasional moment, but they aren't going anywhere. My only concern is whether the football AD will have the skills to pull this off.
You can take my post with a grain of salt. I know some extremely well-connected LSU folks. Really big money guys. When they tell me things.... I listen. One of them relayed that to me. Not that he knows A&M news. Only that he and his other 10 TAF guys usually keep their ears to the ground.
