First time going to Hoover, any recommendations on places to hit up while I'm there/things to do when not at the park etc would be appreciated. Gig em!

If your a hard corp baseball nut the remanence Rosenblatt Stadium by the zoo. There is a small turf field with the original homeplate. Possibly play a little wiffle ball. The foul poles are in the parking lot.
There is not much in Omaha other than CWS. It is alot of fun.

Hopefully this will show how bad some of these umps zones get late in the game.

Then none of our, ummm, favorites should be there
This happens every year in Hoover. The only baseball scheduling that is more ridiculous is a regional in Miami.stretch248 said:
Looks like rain every evening starting Wednesday through the weekend. Lord knows we need it in Alabama, just not this week.

The SEC already has grades on the umpires. My guess is they only put the highest scoring umpires behind the plate this week.

Were there reviewed ball/strike calls in that game? Curious about his miss rate.

Jeff Head is in the bucket for the Kentucky/Vandy game. So evidently not.
