I said it after the fact, but even before the fact, I said he is gonna strike Gavin out if anything comes close cause it pissed him off when he nodded his head at him. And that earlier pitch sucked too even though the announcers said was good.
I avoid temptation unless I can’t resist it.

Can't blame the umpire when the first hitter STOOD THERE and looked at three PERFECT pitches in a game situation. Was the pitch low? Maybe, but you're in protection mode with two strikes....anything close. Baseball 101.

If the ump was competent Chestnut should have had a 3-1 count. Neither of the two strikes called on him were close.
Just switched over to the bananas and no lie home plate umpire is better there

Those systems cost a lot of money, and I can't imagine smaller schools springing for it. Implementation costs in the hundreds of thousands.
College baseball doesn't make money like football.
Auburn snapped our winning streak of 5 consecutive SEC series because the umpires handed them this game. Consequently, we have dropped to 34-10 and 14-8 in SEC play. Hopefully, we win game 3 tomorrow to avoid getting swept for the first time all season and at home for the first time since our home SEC series finale against Missouri from 5/9-5/11/25.

I think there is a world where the strike 3 hit the bottom of the zone at the front of the plate, but strike 2 was still an egregious call.
