I think the glove hit him a microsecond before his hand hit the plate.

The glove on the hand is making it look like he's farther in than he is I believe.
I avoid temptation unless I can’t resist it.

Not sure what the announcers are so shocked by, looked like he got him on the left shoulder before he touched the plate, but also really difficult to know for sure, which is why it stands, dummies
