Sorrell and Grahovac were both batting over .400 with RISP through last week. Sorrell down to .378 with risp after today. He's been money all year though. Bounce back in game 3. Grav up to .434 with risp. He's been on fire. He's been hitting all year but 12 HRs in his last 15 games (and today was his first 4 hit game). Closing in on Sorrell's team RBI lead. 59 to 57.

Duer is hitting .383 with risp. He usually bounces back quickly after O-fer's. Usually the next game. The only time he has had more than 1 game in a row without a hit was against…Oakland (only series he didn't get a hit). He then had 2 hits against SFA and then 4 hits and 6 RBI against OU the next week.

Wilson, Haco, Partida and Kellner all over .300 with risp on the season.

I think we need to qualify this.

The bottom of the order has been great at getting on base and setting the table for Gavin to knock em in. Yes GG gets his own RBI (often) but we have to applaud 7,8,9 for setting up GG and Sorrell for the RBIs.

Our entire lineup gets on base. Even against the SEC. .412 team OB% in conference. Even those struggling batting average-wise get on base.

Kellner has a .438 OBA in SEC play. Harrison .488 OBA in SEC games. Wilson .392 in the SEC. That's your 7-8-9. Which is excellent.

But they are strong throughout.

Partida - .330 (lowest in the lineup but a .544 SLG with 7 HR in conference).
Kiel - .373 (versus a .176 batting average - up from a low in the .120s range recently)

Wilson is the only one that doesn't walk a lot but he has a .362 batting avg in conference (and .787 slg). He's 2nd on the team in conference BA to Grav's .392.
