This sucks because our pitching is so thin. Not sure Moss and Sims can start and then come back after a long, or several, delays. Then we're into our bullpen.

I think our bullpen is going to be great this weekend.

They will be loathe to move gametime on either Friday or Saturday because both are set for linear television, and I don't think they will have to. Looks to me like we should get both in fairly close to on time, but can't completely rule out a delay. Sunday could be a little trickier with the travel curfew in effect, but the probabilities and window usually narrow as we get closer to the day.

"Play Ball!" are the sweetest words in the language of humans. Which is why "in the Big Inning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Just outscore them.. then you don't have to worry about the bullpen! After 9 innings, be one run ahead.. that's all that matters!

Those percentages are for the entire day, not specific to the game window. Thus, they are just about meaningless with regards to finding a 3.5 hour window to play.

2 and 6 was a mess this past weekend. Barely got back into the stadium in time and there were plenty of people still in line outside when the game started. For the t.u. series, the crowd is going to be even bigger. If they're going to clear the stands and then drag their feet about letting people back in, they need to give at least 1.5-2 hours between games.

It's parents weekend. I highly doubt you'll see a double header

THIS!!!! If for no other reason than by separating events that each bring in tons of people, you open the opportunity for that much more revenue for local businesses.

Isn't parents weekend scheduled well in advance and the SEC dictates the series schedules?

Also, it is Chilifest weekend and a large track meet weekend. Too much for one weekend! But, some of it isn't in A&M's control.

Schools can request to play at home, or not play at home, certain weekends. That doesn't mean the request will be granted, but the number of times we have played on parents weekend (I can only think of a couple of times in recent memory where we haven't) tells me that the AD consistently requests a home series that weekend. Maybe that's being directed from elsewhere, but it's stupid.

For baseball player parents and season ticket holders from out of town, it's a real hardship because hotels are scarce and expensive.

As a season ticket holder that lives out of town, has a junior getting her ring, a FTAB fish event on Saturday morning and a nephew that plays baseball for the horns, this weekend is going to be painfully amazing. We ended up getting an Airbnb with my t-sip in laws to avoid the drive back and forth gem Houston.

My FTAB fish is the 24th Aggie in my family back to 1927, I only pull one direction! I can cheer for my nephew's individual success without supporting his team as a whole!

So, this morning on Weather Underground, Friday looks pretty good; worst case is we might be slightly delayed staring the game. Saturday, there is a chance that we have to deal with rain. Not enough of a probability for them to move game time, at least at this point, but it's a possibility we might have a delay for a stray thunderstorm. Sunday still looks like the biggest problem, with thunderstorms forecast for mid-afternoon. Sunday morning looks pretty good, so maybe we move up first pitch Sunday to 11 a.m.
