You know I love an early morning Sunday game. The earlier the better.

Can they decide to delay the game on Sunday since its a bus ride?

Ideally they would have the second game start at 7 to give them more time to get people out and then back in.

Quote:
In the event of a rain-delay prior to the beginning of play on Sunday, the game must begin at least two
hours and thirty minutes prior to the visiting team's scheduled departure time from the field (if
necessary), otherwise, no game may start after 10:00 p.m. local time or resume after midnight local time.
No games will be continued to Monday

Hope you are pulling for the good guys...
My FTAB fish is the 24th Aggie in my family back to 1927, I only pull one direction! I can cheer for my nephew's individual success without supporting his team as a whole!

It's a 45 minute gap between the end of the first game and the second game it's not really about times for the second game. Depends on when first game ends.

We're saying they need a longer gap.

Here's a concept.
It can rain all it wants on mondays and Wednesday. But Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday need to be rain free

A longer gap might help, but what they really need to do is open the gates sooner. 15 minutes ought to be long enough to clear the park and open the gates. It was closer to 30 last time. No excuse for that. Don't waste time picking up trash and doing anything else. Just clear the stands, then open the gates and start scanning. If people are not moving fast enough, I've got some cattle herding experience and would be happy for an excuse to use a hotshot.

He talked about the game being at 7 PM but the first game might not be over in time for that. That's all I was speaking to.

The parents only stay for five innings. They won't care.
Whoever in the AD keeps asking that we schedule a home series for parent's weekend needs to be fired.
Isn't parents weekend scheduled well in advance and the SEC dictates the series schedules?
Also, it is Chilifest weekend and a large track meet weekend. Too much for one weekend! But, some of it isn't in A&M's control.
Schools can request to play at home, or not play at home, certain weekends. That doesn't mean the request will be granted, but the number of times we have played on parents weekend (I can only think of a couple of times in recent memory where we haven't) tells me that the AD consistently requests a home series that weekend. Maybe that's being directed from elsewhere, but it's stupid.
For baseball player parents and season ticket holders from out of town, it's a real hardship because hotels are scarce and expensive.
As a season ticket holder that lives out of town, has a junior getting her ring, a FTAB fish event on Saturday morning and a nephew that plays baseball for the horns, this weekend is going to be painfully amazing. We ended up getting an Airbnb with my t-sip in laws to avoid the drive back and forth gem Houston.
apparently some sip family left a bnb availablePJYoung said:aTm 99 said:twk said:Captn_Ag05 said:twk said:Mrs. FishrCoAg said:

Apparently every weather app I check says something different for today. Oh well, will get wet… or stay dry… either way BTHOtu!AggieBB said:tjack16 said:

I think it looks ok starting at 1:00. Pretty strong chance of rain at noon though. Push the start time to 2:00 and we get it in I think.

I would think about giving Moss an opener, and don't bring him in until we know the weather has passed.AggieBB said:Dr. Horrible said:AggieBB said:tjack16 said:

Yeah seems to always be the case. My only concern is burning moss since I assume he is starting.
