i'd say Earley was embarrassed (pissed) about the offense too

barely beating Penn… going to be a long season in the SEC
who can we money whip to come here next year?
Hopefully Vitello doesn't do well in MLB and we can entice him back to college like a Nick Saban situation
If we need to replace Earley, we'll need to do so long before anyone knows if Vitello is a bust or not with the Giants.
I think Vitello is back in college after two years. I don't think Earley is getting fired this year so one more ****ty year and then hopefully we can make it happen
Again your math ain't mathing. The MLB season lasts until late September. Even if we keep Earely for two more seasons and then fire him we'll have to make a move on a replacement well before the MLB season ends unless you think Tony V will leave a third of the way through his second season with the Giants.
Damn. Well someone is going to get Vitello after he flames out in MLB
I love that we are already trying to find Earley's replacement on the 6th game of the season.

If last season hadn't been such a disaster it's a lot easier to gloss over these early struggles
I'm still optimistic we can get back to hitting the way we did when schlob was here, but so far we look just like we did last year. Poor vision & poor plate discipline
Early should take over the hitting
For better or for worse Mike has been our coach for over a season+. One would think our fans would know how to spell his las name by now.

A North wind caused 17 strikeouts?

Penn is so awful that we've actively recruited transfers from them the last several years.

You must not post here much.
Many here have the baseball IQ of a rock.

Between this board and the MLB one over 65% of my far too many TexAgs posts over nearly 25 years (damn I'm getting old) are baseball related.
Also that post was meant to a friendly jab at a simple error, typo or quite possibly that damn autocorrect thing that is the bane of my existence than a real criticism toward those who might not follow Fightin' Texas Aggie Baseball closely enough to know how Mike spells his last name. Heck POS was our coach three seasons and I never learned to spell his name.

Thank you! It was, in fact, autocorrect.

hitting (even announcers)… all we talk about now is exit velo… i get it, hard hit balls find holes more frequently.. but if you aren't hitting the ball, velo doesn't matter… step 1

I hope we see TK leading off tomorrow, Farr instead of Royo, and that transfer catcher instead of Bear.

Great hitting in the first series, great pitching in the second series. Gonna be great when they both get on the same page. A little concerned about the injuries but I still see plenty of reason for optimism moving forward!

How do you think Earley will manage injuries?
