Actions speak louder than words and our portaling says she did tho k our pitching was good (otherwise you don't just bring in a closer)

She tried. The Ags tried. And were outbid by OU, TTU, and others constantly for top tier pitching and position players. She mentioned that it's going to take a six figure NIL deal in the future to get a front of the rotation caliber pitcher. TAMU softball does not have that NIL support yet. And Coach Ford saying she believes in what she's got and is excited for what's incoming is the same thing Elko did about our WR corp two seasons ago.

You have no idea what we tried in the portal. All you know is what we were able to accomplish.
This is true, I just posted this. Late in 25', The coaches finally have the financial resources to secure a top recruiting class, which will arrive next year. This season, the team is expected to host a regional and earn a top-16 seed, but it likely won't be a national seedmeaning they'll need to travel for the Super Regionals. Pitching roles must be clearly defined by SEC play. Despite a rough weekendplaying as poorly as the FloSports coveragethe team still managed to lead UCLA by five runs, generated plenty of baserunners against Nebraska, and arguably should have beaten Oregon. Ultimately, the responsibility falls to Coach Ford, who may want to consider giving her pitching assistant pitch-calling duties. If I were her, I would try this approach over the next two weekend tournaments.

And I was thinking- why is there no comments on this tournament? Wrong, just didn't look hard enough. My personal opinion is that the results were a good disaster check. Too many's runners left on base period. Pitchers can't go for more than 2-3 innings. Defense is very weak. Tricia has to figure this out or conference games will just be _ _ _ _. Kudos to all who posted.
Unfortunately the team is just not as good as she thought it was going to be. Pitching will get pounded against SEC competition. Just hang out the Wait till Next Year, sign.

We've had some close games against stiff competition, I'm not ready to write off the whole season. Think the girls deserve a fan base that won't either.

Your comment shows that you are clueless about the game ! Tournaments are totally different than a three game series with one game per day . With the two Syd's and Pannell relieving and closing, they will win a lot of games.
