That bunt was the correct call 100% of the time in that situation. Only guys not bunting there are Jace, Sorrell, and maybe Henseler. It would be 4-1 if he gets that down there.
Some of you show your lack of baseball knowledge with every post. Or you let your disdain of Earley get the best of you.
I'll never understand bunting at this level with no one on base or with 2 outs. It seems like it never works.Queso1 said:
I hate bunting as a principle, but boy is it great when it works. When.
Arrogance? Lol. More like he's played a ton of baseball and was playing on instinct. Sheesh.Fquin said:
Usually should have been the shortstop's play. But, Kent has to see Royo standing there and back off. Once again his arrogance strikes. He is most definitely a far superior second baseman than shortstop.
He had the bag tag and step back throw. He would not have had to cross the runner and throw across his body.BohunkAg said:Wasn't his ballzephyr88 said:

Yeah not sure, drawing a blank on if it was a L or R up which would have them shifted one way or another but most likely it would default to Kents ball as he's coming across the bag towards 1B.Aston 91 said:
That failed DP is gonna end up biting us in the ass I'm afraid. I'm 99% sure that's Kent's ball all the way, but everyone has to be on the same page on what to do before the pitch is thrown.
In Lubbock, yes. For the Ags, not so much.RED AG 98 said:cougarpride said:

Remember who Kash is. He's been a HR guy and probably not been asked to bunt much since Little League. That's my only thought. He's not some random 9 hole guy.
Yeah not sure how the logic works here...BohunkAg said:Arrogance? Lol. More like he's played a ton of baseball and was playing on instinct. Sheesh.Fquin said:

Exactly
My very first point of knowing your team.
