This couldn’t have been easy for Schott to do. Win, lose, or draw, Schott has always been an excellent representation of what makes this university a special place. https://t.co/KEeTTYq1w1

Because he's fostered a culture of student athletes who truly love playing for this university and representing this university.

The video is nice.
I feel for the team.
This is one of the oddest things I have ever seen in baseball at A&M. I wonder what is actually happening.

I feel bad for the team because they're human beings who clearly want to do well and win games.
It can't be easy to be in their shoes right now. For whatever reason, they're not performing up to potential. And it's happening in front of an audiience and media. That has to smart. (And no, I don't believe they're just coasting on NIL money and not giving a sh*t. I don't believe they're suddenly awful at baseball. Maybe it's the coach or the weight of expectation. Something is going on.)
The season isn't over. Maybe we'll get a miracle. The odds aren't good, but hope springs eternal.

It sucks, but there are lots of giys every year that have that feeling. Very few teams win it all. Whether is HS, college, or the pros, those that put in the work and come up short know the feeling. Part of what drives you for the remainder of your life.
Schott is a good dude but I get the feeling they didn't take care of business in the off-season. Seemed they were on social media a little more than they should have be in the offseason. Why didn't him and Grahovic get surgery as soon as the season was over last year so they would be ready for this season. Why did the team come out so flat. Never seen a team where the entire team was in a slump. I am sure things will come out eventually. Earley is a player's coach. He let it happen. These guys are kids and need an adult to provide discipline.
Nice sentiments, but you left off the most important point- baseball coaching skills. He lacks it.BaseballAggie13 said:Aggie_Jeff said:So we can have disappointed players giving interviews? Not sure i follow.BaseballAggie13 said:
