This weekend is one none of us nor ANYONE saw coming. I would wager there is something afoot which in time will come out. One loss is part of the craziness of college baseball. This year's Missouri team sweeping on the road against the preseason #1 is not realistic in ANY universe.

When the highlight of the weekend is "We didn't get run ruled" then you know the wheels have come off.

Hearing, over the radio mic from the booth, "They don't want to be hear anymore!!" and knowing it had to come from the MIZ dugout was the worst.

... because everyone knew it was true.

I believe these exclusively money motivated players are actively being coerced by bad guys who bet on things like - taking series at #1 & #2 teams on the road, then somehow managing to get swept by an arch rival and then swept at home by an 0-24 team.

Good one. That's pretty funny.

As far as lowest of lows, it isn't close to when we had 6 non-conference losses and were 1-9 in the conference getting swept twice and the #1 vols threw a first game no hitter at us AND run ruled us. 1-10 with two more games to go in Knoxville. Suspect offense, defense, relief pitching, and Sunday starter. That felt pretty low.

How is this embarrassing sweep to an sec school lower than that Friday night in Knoxville? I don't know what happened, but Saturday was a different team.

It's been a year of low lows and some very high highs. That probably won't change between now and the last game, whenever that is.

It sure is embarrassing now listening to all this whining and crying.

So you aren't going to say what you heard in the parents section? Just going to tell us you heard something and leave it at that?

Not that hard to figure out. If your kid was playing for a coach that had the team performing such as this, what would you be thinking/stating? I'm sure the parents were not his biggest fan.

I want the details. Who was the most pissed off about the product on the field? Who is saying they are gone if he is here next year? Who were they saying they hope the next coach is?

I can imagine the typical moaning and groaning, but if the guy was there and heard specifics, spill em.

I would guess them stating he is clueless. That's my perception from his interviews.

Hear ya on that one. Was just hoping for some specifics besides him being clueless. I got that one figured out myself pretty quick without watching his post game pressers, just by seeing his demeanor on the front steps of the dugout all season.
