This is most likely the very best team Mike Earley will ever coach if he is allowed to remain here. He should be fired, and we should hire a real baseball coach.

He will be fired unless we make the postseason and now we have to win the Georgia series for that to occur.

So my guess is we will have new coach.
And literally everything you said is completely wrong.

1. He will not be fired
2. Winning the Georgia series won't get us in the post season. Our only chance is winning the sec tourney
3. No. Earley will be back next year

Quite possibly the worst series loss I can remember given the situation…. Inexcusable in every facet and now we either have to win out, or win the SEC tournament.
"Win out" won't get us in a regional.

Actually it would because that would mean we also won the SEC tournament.
Or you could just read the comment I was replying to comprehend it.

My apologies. You are correct.

I can't remember a worse loss in any Aggie sport.

Arkansas State, UCLA, Appalachian State all come to mind easily as being worse.

I think Mizz is worse than all of those teams. This was ULala bad, worse
No doubt. None of those teams were as pathetic as 0-24. Not even close.

No not worse than these two losses.

77-0 trumps all
Not even close. Oklahoma was #1 in the country when they beat us, Missouri was 0-24 in the SEC. And beat us twice.

Going into this weekend we had the 5th best odds to win the CWS…that team lost two and maybe three at home to one of the worst SEC teams ever

it's not wrong. Those series were great, meant a lot of placing and rpi. But not one loss but two losses to Missouri totally destroys anything we built from that

Once again, point to where I've done that today. Sorry I'm not going to let you get away with driveby attacks on me. Saying the offense has been an atrocious is not hyperbole. You can admit you picked the wrong person to snipe at. And I'd respect you for it.
This is the last thing I'm gonna say about this. But I wasn't going to let YOU get away with your drive-by attack on me. You twice personally attacked me over a post, wouldn't take responsibility for it and then doubled-down on it and claimed I was the one picking on the wrong person.

This is what started it:

These posts are so dumb.

I didn't like that you were seemingly saying about HistAg's comment was dumb by making a post about a negative poster. They do need to leave now and not come back. It's just one damn negative thing from these people over and over. If you were talking about the post she was referring to then you should've said those. By saying these it made it sound like you were insulting her. So I came back and said your post was dumb meaning hers wasn't.

Then you personally attacked me. I came back at you for that. You personally attacked me again, both outrageously wrong and rude comments and then when I tried to get you to take responsibility for it, you tried to turn it around on me.

I have been nothing but positive about our team and our coaches always. I have supported them for years with both my time, my attendance and my money. And I get sick of people constantly saying horrible things about our coaches and our players. You can be disappointed that we lost, you can be embarrassed. You can be disappointed in their play, but people on here are saying the most disgusting and vile things about their character, about their play, calling them pieces of ****, saying they don't want to win and other vile and stupid things, and I won't stand for that.

Half the people on this board should not be Aggie baseball fans anymore. And how a team getting a national championship will somehow change anyone's life to the point where they come on here and say they will never support this team again, they won't watch them anymore and they have better things to do with their time. Well, if that's the case, then go away.

Yes I hope we win one someday but in the meantime, I will support my Aggies Win, Lose or Draw.

The way some people get upset about sports on here is truly over the top insanity.

Anyone who wants Earley back next season is oblivious. To believe he can do more with less is just wishful thinking. Fire his ass. First time I've said it, but I'll stick with it regardless of how the remainder of the likely short season unfolds. He'll have a significantly downgraded squad next season if he remains, and he's shown that he can't handle the job at this level of expectations. Good luck elsewhere. Get serious with the next hire or welcome to also-ran status for the foreseeable future.

It's hard to argue that because, seriously, that score is deceptive and makes it seem much closer than it actually was. When people say it could have easily been 100-0 or more it's not an exaggeration. I've never seen or heard of a game between two teams, theoretically at the same level of competition (it's not like OU was playing a Div 3 school) where they just ran clock continuously and the winning coach was literally yelling at his players to "Just fall down". They were actively trying not to score and it was 77-0 with minutes to go in the third. The many intervening years are the only reason anyone equates the two.

Yup, we continue to run our athletic program like some mid tier organization settling for randoms instead of stealing top talent constantly.

It's inexcusable how we lost a home series to Missouri, who was 0-24 before yesterday. Missouri has outscored us by a combined score of 12-1 across the last 14 innings (8-0 in the last 4 innings yesterday and 4-1 in 9 innings today). Consequently, we have dropped to 27-22 (10-16 SEC) and lost 6 of our last 8 SEC games. Missouri wins an SEC series for the first time this year and a series in College Sation for the first time since 2006.

and this is why Aggies are either very religious or alcoholics.....
..The history of the world is that of religion. Violent faith, in either God or Man has shed an endless river of blood. It is not a matter of what you can live without, but which allows you the freedom to be indifferent..

The first 3 conference series (which included 2 sweeps) were unfortunate, a combination of the growing pains of a new head coach and injuries. 4 of the next 5 conference series were outstanding, including series wins over 3 top-5 teams. The Texas series stressed out the players and coaches of both teams, with Texas winning by 1 run in all 3 (could have easily gone the other way). In my mind, this late-season series against Mizzou is really the only one that falls into the category of inexplicable, but sometimes that happens in baseball. You're not going to fire a coach based on 1 inexplicable series in his first year.
Serious question. What do we have in the pipeline? I don't see it being better next season.

It will be ugly.
Brauny has already said the incoming freshman class has good players. The portal isn't even open yet so who knows.

lol looking at a fastball right down the chute.

What a perfect encapsulation of this season
If looking at pitches in (or near) the strike zone is a problem, why doesn't coach signal a mandatory swing to hitters with the problem, especially when facing pitchers throwing strikes.
