Schloss is winning at a high level with half the roster talent that we have. You wanna see what's happening in austin when he recruits for a couple years? They will be in the cws all the time with good odds to win. Based on what you have seen this year, what makes you think Earley will do that with talent he brings in? This is the type of season and coach that sets the program back 5 years.

Tennessee was also a terrible program on the brink of disaster when he was hired. NOT a team that was a hit or two from being the reigning national champs.

These are to easy.

Schloss was one game from winning it all.

Not losing multiple series at home. One to a team that had not won one SEC game.

Your Tony questions falls on deaf ears for the same reasons above.

I have a question for you.

What aspect of the team has shown improvement throughout the season.


I can buy a new coach might start slow. But if they are top level SEC coach you should see consistent areas that are showing improvement.

Virtually everybody here knows without my telling them, that if we had won last night, we would have likely won very easily today. Think about that.

This is 100% on Earley the way he mismanaged what should have been a win last night. I have been trying to support him, but no more. He has to go. Sorrell will transfer somewhere now any way. Can him soon.

Mizzou definitely isn't a great team but notwithstanding their previous 0-24 conference record, they do have decent players and some really good, developing arms. Playing in lously Missouri weather for a lot of the early part of the conference and getting in a bigger hole than our Ags did, really kept them on a downward roll until they traveled down to Blue Bell in perfect spring weather with a chance to end the season on a good note and no pressure whatever on them. This was what I predicted as we've seen that before. (This does not excuse our failure to play the last 2 days but it does explain how Mizzou is playing us so tough!)

Vitello took over and built the Tennessee program. If he had retired after last season, his replacement wouldn't get 3 years to figure things out.

Schloss got teams with far less talent than this one to the CWS.
Vitello absolutely did not have this type of talent his first two years.
And I don't know if we can expect a lot of this talent to come back next year no matter who the coach is based on the abhorrent season they had compared to their expectations.

If Earley doesn't give them hope by his massive fup last night, this would be entirely different. Our players are defeated because of him. I do not have any kind thoughts or words for Earley
