This. The AD and the higher ups will never admit to a mistake after year one. Settle in bc it's coming again next year

I would argue not winning a single 1-run game at tu put us on this edge. Tonight we fell off. I suppose we could win out but either way, I expect to see Earley back next season.

In my 54 years, I have never seen us fire a coach after 1 year. And while it has been a disaster, we do still have a chance of making the post season.

If Joni Taylor is still employed by A&M, Mike Earley will 100% be back next year.

we cant even afford to fire our soccer and womens basketball coaches when its plain as day they gave up a long time ago. that jimbo fisher deal will be felt for years to come

We have the money to fire all of those. We choose not to spend it as Trev finds it more important to be one of the most profitable athletic departments in the country over spending it all and trying to win in every sport and maybe not making money as an athletic department.

It's like nobody has followed Aggie sports for 30 years. When have we ever fired a men's coach after 1 year in the big 3? We give all are coaches years to get it right, usually more years than needed. No way we fire him after one year if we barely miss out on the tournament. And if we miss it will out it will be just barely

Look, Coach E cannot be released just because he has the most loaded roster any coach here has had to begin the year with and just gave zero and 24 Mizzery their only win in the SEC so they can now be 1-24.
No, he cannot be released from his coaching job until a couple of years into his contract extension guaranteed for $60 million dollars, and then after going 15 and 35 with two seasons to go on his 10 year contract - then he will be released and paid not to coach for years and years.

Okay.... so which is it? Your first post, you said 0% chance in answer to the OP question - meaning 0% chance we see him next season. And now you are saying 0% chance we fire him.

Every SEC team will be playing at the SEC tournament.

Just win and you're in.

Ags live in a Maroon dreamworld. Because we have offered coaches like Viitllo and Beard money to come here we think we can buy people. Those offers were never close to landing a coach. Other than our $78M mistake when have we uprooted a top tier coach.

Face it t.u. B slapped us by taking the best coach we ever had less than a day after our best season.

Earley is not going anywhere. Look at the Bucky deal. We're not going to spend any money.

Ags have never figured out who to blame or how to put pressure on the A.D. office. For crying out loud we had Hyman wearing a TCU shirt in the sstands at our game. Until we get that office cleaned up and in working order nothing is changing.

while I believe you are right, it is so typical that the bar is set so low - started with number 1 team in country ( by peer review) and just making the tourney becomes acceptable after ****ting the bed at every turn

A&M is not going to spend this kind of NIL money on the baseball team again. 2025 was a one-off situation NIL-wise. Earley will have to win with a 40 to 50% smaller budget

What a bunch of slack jawed pansies on here! I have confidence we will still win this series and the series against UGA. A missed hit here and there vs tu and one bad inning vs Mizzou and all the cry babies rush to their keyboards...as is your right. We have had one hell of a second half.

Get to the Supers, and maybe there's some warranted discussion.

Get to Omaha, and that will quieten the nay-sayers.
