I asked this earlier but do you think they use the outcome of tomorrow to determine who gets the number 1 overall seed?? It seems in other sports the conference tourney results don't play a huge factor. We have the higher RPI, the tougher non conference, but I'm afraid they'll use any reason to have Oklahoma number 1. What do you all think the committee does ?

Yes i think if OU wins both the regular season and tournament they get 1. Either way i think they pair with Tech in regional and Texas in World series. I think we pair with a non sec team in super and tenn in world series if they make it

I am not convinced this game will be played. If it isn't I think we get one. They will just move the match ups to keep em the same

How many times will they show the spat between Ford and Weekly if that game works out? Will they say it was because someone on the A&M bench called her Karen? This matchup is a lock if both teams hold their seeds

They should put us at 1, but given our track record with NCAA selection committees, ignoring all the normal metrics and giving it to OU wouldn't surprise me.

It is not looking good right now, rain is coming down steady and has been for about 2 hours. Looks like it will continue to rain at least through noon. We'll see what the SEC has to say, too much softball left to risk any injuries.

Just talked to an SEC official here at the tournament. He says if they can safely play the game they will, no cut off time as far as when they could begin play. Also, said if it is a rain out the highest remaining seed will be declared the winner.

No way pre- game starts at 1:10, it's raining harder than it was earlier today.

Current field conditions, the tarp is still on the infield. There is plenty of standing water in front of both dugouts.

Coach Ford was just out on the outfield grass walking around checking it out. The team just came out of the dugout and went over to the Georgia players facility.

Both coaches meeting with SEC officials now.

The stadium has one rain band pass thru, then it appears to stop raining & another band forms to the South (moving North) only to move thru the area once again.
