After odds being as low as 6-1 to win the natty, the season is off to a terrible start. We now sit at 35-1. Im buying low. We have the starting pitching. The defense is looking better with the new configuration. I believe our bats will wake up. Biggest question is relief pitching. I think we've still got a shot.

If we can't get back on track quick I wonder if there would be any thought to patton/lamkin in an aschenbeck role - close out good opportunities to win out of the pen, and try to piece together the 3rd game. I would be for it, could be a nice shakeup and maybe even a catalyst for the offense in those "piece it together games"

You would lose some innings overall, but having someone you count on to throw strikes in those high leverage games would be worth it for me.
