60% - 70% of college sports is coaching, it's why Texas is going to be really good right away. Most elite college coaches can win mostly anywhere.

The other 40 % is players and program (facilities, fanbase, support, etc...), but coaches decide really how to use players, the facilities, nil.

Coaches are really the captain behind the ship.

But we were the same type of team with Schloss. So saying (not you) this current team is built for the long ball and we don't play small ball is silly because Schloss's teams were the exact same.

Another frustrating home loss to an inferior opponent. After we outscored New Mexico State 26-1 across the first 16 innings, we lost 4-1 in the 3rd and final game of the series. As a result, our 3-game winning streak ended, and we dropped to 9-6 with one game remaining before SEC play begins against Alabama on Friday.
