He will likely improve some, but I honestly thought his defense would be significantly more improved from last year and it just doesn't seem like it is yet.


We are just looking for solid. Make the plays that are there, like that pop-up.

I agree. But what we are seeing is very similar to what he had last year. It's just not "there" defensively. I'd be interested to see what someone else can do at 1B- I hope trouble is right and we get to see Kash there

How do you know he won't improve? How was the play the 1B fault? He called off the play by 2B.

He was called off because he took a horrible route to the pop up
So did Jace on the routine fly to center. So have Elon fielders all weekend. Definitely seems to be weird conditions and not just rust or poor play, but it probably is the latter 2 at least some as well.
