I have 4 in 103 row 5. I'm good with where I'm at. But I would never ask that much for tickets. Anyone who's dealt with me knows I'm reasonable and honest. And I'm selling a lot of mine this year.

As much as I love capitalism, $446 per ticket is just crap! Maybe the weekend series (and that's a stretch for me anyways!) but one game?
The buyer and seller determine the correct price by executing a transaction…

This is true. Similar to a make me move price you see in real estate.

In theory we want more and more people listing their tickets to increase supply to try to even out demand a tad.

It's not with the pass though. It's $1000/ticket plus $650 for the pass.

Some of us got in on season tickets well before the recent success and they were not hard to secure.

A lot of bandwagon complaining about recent availability (not saying OP

RCA: BB should have been planned with greater capacity given A&Ms size (and way more premium seating)
I bought season tickets during the RC era. I go to more than 75% of games. I didn't have any issue getting my seats because when RC was here we were usually bowing out before Omaha.

Bill Byrne reduced seating (which was very short sided because we wouldn't always have RC as a coach). People want tickets now because we're good. Renewal rates are 97% or more. That's a bad combo.

Raise prices on season tickets to take out the margin from re-selling (and as a bonus, support the program/AD). Long time season ticket holders do not want to hear this, but the tickets are severely underpriced. Squeezing out people that are not willing to pay higher prices would open up more tickets, but then a lot of people would complain about this as well.
People keep saying this, but they haven't looked at what other schools are charging. We are not underpriced anymore. The problem is primarily a lack of supply. It's a shame that a new park was ruled out, as that would have been the best way to remedy the situation, the current structure limiting what we can do.
Tennessee has a smaller ballpark than we do. It Seats 5500 with a "party concourse" in left field. Seats 1st deck down 1st/3rd baseline lower level are $350-$750 a ticket. Seats in the bowl are $1000-$1250 (excluding club seats). That's cheaper than our seating.

He is. I wonder if they are even his tickets or if he is selling them for someone else.

He'll probably get that price if he breaks it up. I can see the big SEC series going for ~$100 per ticket on Saturdays.
Isn't this proof that the tickets at face value are under priced
No. The key word is BIG. Like the LSU series. You're not going to get $100 per ticket for Missouri or any Tuesday game.

Mizzou yes. Midweek no.

People are vastly underestimating how expensive Aggie baseball tickets will cost.
1k a ticket with a parking pass is an incredible deal.

In your section or lower level, yes. In the upper deck, probably not. Maybe someone will bite for a single game purchase.

I will wager you by the season starts this s a great deal. Look at what the coat is per game.
Not just the ones you and everybody else wants to go to.

I expect it'll be nuts. Malcolm asked for club seats for his birthday and I told him not this year.

So you think altogether the season ticket package will end up selling for less than face value of $420?

As dermdoc has pointed out $1,000/seat is actually a good deal for 35 home games or whatever we have this season. $420/seat is a really really really good deal. Which is my point.

I bet Derm is right on this. I went to a bunch of games last year. I don't think I paid under $100/seat when I bought online and paid a lot more on big series in good seats. There isn't a ton inventory online for seats, so price gets up there.

Got some on here for cheaper at times. I don't mind paying market. I'm a capitalist. I get the long time support. I have season tickets in football, so I understand the true cost.

One poster mentioned they gave up on playing the PP game. I get it. It's a lot like buying a second home and spending 2-3 weeks a year there. The math just doesn't make sense if you can't get to the majority of games.

Heck if I were A&M I'd have held back those seats and put them
on the open market. I am sure StubHub or SeatGeek has a feature like that for the ticket providers. It's well known that many of the top musical acts buy the best 1000 seats in the house at face and turn around and put them on the market for 10x the face.

I think this year tickets will be a lot more expensive than we are used to. And that is a good thing because it means our team is that great. It'll suck for non-season ticket holders but that's the price of being elite. I'd imagine it's how Georgia football fans felt after they reached prominence

Midweeks should still be very easy and then after opening weekend I'd imagine those two home non conference series will be reasonable. But the big home series (opening weekend, LSU, South Carolina) those will be very pricey
