Sorry, but I think thats pretty cool.

I know everyone like "bracket busters" and underdog stories but there are 4 other non-national seed teams to make it.

While I dont have OCD, the simplicity of 1-4 all in the winners' bracket is satisfying.

Means they got it right. Unfortunately the order will a wrong once we win.

I think the committe did an excellent job this year

This year was one of the more balanced/distributed brackets I can remember. There didn't appear to be any ridiculous politicking trying to ensure a Pac or Big XII made it to Omaha or maliciously lineing up SEC teams in supers.

There were some gift regional hosts given, but they were matched with challenging 2/3 seeds.

Usually there is one team gifted a road to Omaha who gets killed once there - none of that this year. Every team has earned it and all the games have been phenominal as a result.

Casual FIL asks me if I think the Ags can beat the #1 Vols, I said yea with chutzpa.

"Are you sure about that, they are #1?" I then kindly explained to him that the Ags were #1 for some time too, and finished above Tennessee in the RPI and ELO

It is nice to see a real bracket set up as somebody above posted. When the money isn't flowing as much behind closed doors you get good games. NCAA selection committees take note.

4 1 run first round games. Every fan on every seat corner for 2 days straight. That is how you build eye balls for a non rev sports that may just turn a bit soon.

Interesting that yes 3 SEC teams were in top 4 so should have expected this but if my math is right SEC is 4-1 to this point. ACC which did have lower seeds is 2-5.

Now with all that said I sure hope Tenn loses before the end. I can't stand their coach. Acted like a 2 year old over a ball call the other night. He is known to be classless over the years and tonight his star hitter stares done home plate ump. Leadership is just that and I don't see that on Tenn team at all. For me they probably won't but I can't wait to see them lose. The team I like the least in Omaha. I just hope they find a way to screw it up as they did last year.

A&M wins it a dream comes true. If they can't anybody including Florida at this point over Tenn. somebody said last night winning is only thing that matters. Right or wrong a 21 year old entitled young man should never stare down a 50 year old over a pitch call. After all he is the official and your team signed up to play a game he gets to make the calls. Then after he is out at first he stares down home plate clinching his jaws. I know it would not happen but after his home plate stare down and shaking his head no over and over I'd have sent him to the showers. I don't care who you are don't tell me they are good at sportsmanship. I actually used to like that school a bit but keeping that coach is a mistake. Winner yes leaders no. I get game emotions but that team of fast becoming ass holes.

Opposite of the SEC tournament, where the top four seeds all lost their first game.

Almost like 1 matters and 1 does not.

All eight are very good teams. It's a little surprising but the games played close.

I still would prefer a series for resolving to the final four semifinals rather, than as Schloss framed it, two regionals. But the contract with Omaha likely foregoes broader changes in the eight-team format….as long as the NCAA stands at least!!!

Tennessee was given the biggest break when they should have lost vs Florida State on the strike three check call. If I was behind the plate I would have expanded the zone ever so slightly to send a message to Tennessee. Reign it in.

I agree but was trying to stay very current for a few slow newbies. You know the ones that thinks we should not be allowed to play baseball and foul a few off? The adhd folks that need 30 minute tee ball Rec games.
