Looks like rai, thunderstorms and heavy winds today… may impact the game.
TODAY we are targeting the southern zone in eastern Nebraska into Iowa for #tornado potential in a moist, unstable and strongly sheared warm sector behind complex of showers and storms this morning.

I don't ever recall them moving a CWS game up. I bet that is very rare in modern times.Killzone3abc said:
I'm not sure why they didn't move game 1 up today. Looks like they would probably have an u interrupted game if they'd started at 10 or 11 CST.

If the UK/NC State game goes more than 10 innings, we might be delayed starting anyway, then have the prospect of an interruption early in the game for weather. Not good for setting up your pitching.FTAG 2000 said:
Tracking to 7:30 thunderstorms.
Its not going to be a rain out, but an hour long (or more) interruption will have a big impact on the game. As the better team, you'd rather not have that wildcard injected into things.BigSneezy said:
Big golfer here. This isn't a huge issue. 0.3 inches expected in total. So it rains for an hour and we resume. No problem.
Just because it predicts that it will rain doesn't mean it will necessarily rain a lot.
Still looking at a prediction on how those cells will move and/or develope.FTAG 2000 said:
Not looking at weather.com app or anything for predictions. Looking at radar.
