So what's the best way to get tickets for final series.

Wait until right before first pitch and buy on site?

Lots of big IF's… but budget would be real tight for me and my 2 boys to make it.

I can get a rental car on points, we could camp if necessary, but would probably drive to Topeka on Friday, stay night there and drive into Omaha Saturday. Then drive back to Topeka or close after game to make it only an 8-9 hr drive back to Texas on Sunday.

I have been checking for tickets for the next game as soon as our games finished. Sometimes you find a great deal. Sometimes everything is still high, and you need to wait until closer to the game for prices to drop more.

It's kind of a crapshoot. Pay according to your means and acceptable level of FOMO. No matter where your tickets are, the ballpark is amazing and a fun place to be.
