3.50 minus costs. Total revenue of about 200k so far with 140k after charity donation.

Obviously they are. And selling thousands of them.
They donate a part of the proceeds to the local and the university specific town's food banks. It's a large part philanthropy for Omaha and the communities for the teams that are there. I think its a great idea and had zero issue paying for a few.

To be fair they are still making $3.50 a shot. I don't know if they are making them in house or still using a pre-packaged deal (when they were slinging thousands at a time I saw they were rolling in freaking pallets of them) but either way it's still very lucrative.

I imagine they'd still do fine without it, but they have a great gimmick happening here.

Definitely profitable for them, that's why its a win/win. I'd imagine their overhead is much more than people realize. They are churning out some serious volume which isn't easy to support when you don't have an infrastructure set up to do it outside of the one week.

A bunch of machines are making the shots. One machine can do 100 shots/hour, so they probably have a rack of machines turning them out.
