The funniest part about all of this is that Pierce has yet to be fired.

Not sure they can deliver, but that has never stopped them from not being honest.
1) come be our OC, Strong will definitely be here for at least two more years (Strong was fired within 12 months)
2) Herman will definitely be our coach next year (technically correct because they waited until Jan 2 to fire him)
"Come to A&M, our coach has 8 years left on one of the biggest contracts of all time". (Fired within 12 months).

I listen to content from multiple schools, not just A&M

And you actually believe those doing things would let numbers leak out. Come on man.
Name the number of times a school has paid a baseball coach $1M/year more than the was already making, and it was leaked out.Quote:

They have to fire him after all this, he would basically be a lame duck coach if they keep him and would set the program back in recruiting because no one would commit to playing for him
What? So wait until the entire season is over and fire him then instead of 3 weeks ago? I find it unlikely they move on from Pierce and if they do they aren't going to get some scary name, they never do.HoustonAg2106 said:

Oh he literally admitted that his only sources were other schools' message boards.Quote:

They want to do a fire and hire simultaneously.
And I don't have inside sources but I'm not getting info from message boards, I listen media from other schools who have sources. And I never even said Schloss would leave or that is who I was talking about. Vitello is in Omaha too and I'm sure they will make that call too
Yeah ask Jimmy Johnson how that went for himLance Uppercut said:

I know they wanna do something this weekend to try to piss on our parade. That's just the sip way.dermdoc said:
When has there ever been a simultaneous fire and hire in any big time college sport?

I will say this, they did it with Herman.

With all due respect, that does not make sense time wise. If they had fired Pierce before the CWS they would be all over the news and game broadcasts.
But who knows? They may be right.
For the record, sip "media sources" have been like ofor on any predictions like this.
And I have had "insider sip" info in the past that never turned out to be true.
No way we would go to the SEC. No way we hire Jimbo. And the list goes on.
Do you know that?Quote:

I could not remember if they fired Herman and hired Sark at the same time.
Thanks

Why would that have not already occurred? They would get much more publicity this weekend if the job was open.
What is the advantage of keeping him around?
