4 teams in a regional. Make the highest seed every game home. Or at a minimum the highest seed should be home the first time *any* two specific teams meet. Meaning do away with the total home / away count and count each 2 team matchup independently.

No kidding. I haven't been paying attention other noticing Careless Whisper for Schott. Are we still not allowed to even play their walk up songs at our own park for regionals.

So yesterday
Louisiana road team vs Grambling
Texas home team vs A&M
So why is Louisiana road and Texas home again today?
Louisiana was home team against Texas Friday, no?

Yes but I was told it alternated game by game so Friday's shouldn't matter. UL was road yesterday, Texas was home. Doesn't it make sense to alternate?

if you made the host the home team for every game, it would really suck for teams like JMU and GCU who realistically have zero chance of ever hosting a regional ever.

go grab me a calculator and tell me what teams High Point University would have had to schedule in OOC and what their record would have needed to be in order to have a blip of a dream of hosting.

If they just made it to where the better seed is the home team every game … I don't think many people would have legitimate complaints.
Don't like it? Do better in the regular season. Also we have mid majors hosting every year so spare me the "it's not fair for the small schools" argument
Because being the visiting team in your own stadium/arena is illogical and no other sport does this.htxag09 said:

Not saying I agree with it but shouldn't be hard to follow at all….
A&M was home Friday. One home game.
Louisiana was home Friday. One home game.
A&M was the away team Saturday. One away game.
Louisiana was the away team Saturday and their first game Sunday. Two away games.
Louisiana is the home team for our game.

The regional host should be home for all of their games. Should be considered a reward for being a host.

Holy crap. You people. Sean??????????????
I think they could start their season with road series at UNC, Clemson, South Carolina and play the Houston tourney vs LSU & A&M. Then midweek vs Vandy, Tennessee, Georgia, NC State, Virginia, VaTech and Duke. Might have to play some of them 2x too fill out the mid-week schedule. All on the road if course. I think you could afford to lose probably 5 of those road games as long as you go undefeated in conference.swimmerbabe11 said:
