So I get that tv games are "locked in" for time… but if it's an ESPN+ game why can't they move it up for weather reasons?
Like the forecast today calls for rain from 3-6, so right in the middle of the Grambling vs Cajuns game. That game is on ESPN+ so why couldn't they have moved it up?

Just saw some 2ndary ticket market stats... I'm 24 hours the average price for tonight's winners bracket game in Greenville, NC went from $183/ticket to $8/ticket.

Not sure postseason rules, but during the regular season on games on the big channels are somewhat locked (ESPN, ESPN2). SECN is a little more flexible, and SECN+ games are really flexible. I imagine ESPN+ is similar.tjack16 said:

What sort of nonsense quote was that attributed to the ECU coach...?? We just kept winning. It's unfortunate we had to play the teams we did that hurt our RPI and cost us a national seed (paraphrase).

Beat Purdue and Cal State Fullerton in a tournament.
They're 43-16 overall.
No one that has anything to lose wants to play them out of conference. That's just reality. Their RPI is lower than it probably should be because of this. In the old days A&M and Texas would schedule Rice. We probably wouldn't now if they were still in their hay day because of the RPI and ranking games that get played.
I'd really like to take in some games at Greenville. Seems like a pretty fun scene.

My point was that, the way the statement was made, it seemed the ECU coach said they won a lot of games down the stretch and due only to the RPI of their opponents they fell out of National Seed consideration.
