My boys and I have been watching Aggie baseball team all season but we don't know the rest of the bracket well… who should we be rooting for between t-sips and Cajuns? I almost never root for t-sips but if they are an easier path, I would take delight in beating them… on the other hand if they have more talent than Cajuns….

Ragin Cajuns. We have already beat Texas once this season, but honestly anything can happen when playing the sips.

I also like playing our old coaches.

Oregon wins 5-4. Small ball fails for San Diego as they leave runner at third.

It feels good to have the only shutout so far in regional. Lotta game to be played, but a helluva start.

We really want nobody to win until it's the 18th inning

It would be really sweet if the Ducks were able to win this regional.

1. UCSB (Overall 14, RPI 13)
2. San Diego (RPI 20)
3. Oregon (RPI 52)

No team in this regional approaches the talent level of what we face every week in the SEC. I'm rooting for ULL out of hatred for the sips, but the biggest thing is that it goes 15 innings.

Yeah, Deggs needs to get to that sip pen. 3 pitches for 2 quick outs but the solo spank was nice.

Keep it single homers and we are much more likely to see a tie taking this thing long. Only other thing we can hope for is lots of guys left on base to increase pitch counts

I'm torn.

As dabo said the Cajuns don't have the same overall talent level. They've hit 2 bombs today but this year they really haven't slugged that much. They're more of a small ball and pressure on the bases kind of team, and they can actually pitch pretty well. I dislike this matchup because it's not something we see all the time. It's kinda like seeing an option team in football...

tu is way down this year but they certainly have more talent than ULaLa. They are a mirror team however. They actually don't pitch that well this year and they are slugging pretty well. This is not your typical tu pitching + defense + small tu team. But there is the additional pressure of a rivalry game if that's who we get...

I like the tu matchup better for us first order, but I think overall I'd still rather face the Cajuns.

The real net-net is that it doesn't matter. Neither team is anywhere the team that we are, and if we play as we are capable we'll be the last team standing this weekend.

Is this announcing crew sounding very pro sip?

I've heard "horns" a lot but I don't really recall announcers calling us "ags" and then also saying they're back in the game when it was just 2-0

That was just a casual observation regarding the regional in Santa Barbara. Pulling for team underdog is all. Nothing to see here.
