It's so easy to sell them reasonable here in ticket exchange or in Premium. Why put them on a third party that will just as easily sell to opposing teams? I don't get it.

Well…. From first hand experience, when you try to do the right thing and give and i mean for free give, your tickets away to some Ag on Texags, that Ag then turns around and list them for profit. So why would a good hearted Ag want to expose himself that way again? It will not happen again, I promise.

I'm not aware that it has ever happened to me, and I would think it's not the norm.

I paid a higher premium today for these tickets that I ever have in Omaha

I think it's important to differentiate between private ticket sellers and whatever the school is doing and the official marketplace. I also have every reason to believe that our athletics programs benefit from the relationship so intentionally trashing a "partner" seems short-sighted.

I'll note that I'm confused by the sequence of events so I wish to ask a very direct question: is the OP saying some tickets he gave away were then posted on the official Fan to Fan marketplace at a significant premium?

Because that could be fixed by the University working disallow ticket flagged by the original purchaser from being resold. Now the warning is that exists it likely drives up all prudes on the open market due to scarcity of supply…

The two times I've gotten "better" tickets I either give the initial ones back to the original person OR give them away to other Ags.

The way I read the OP was that he is upset he had to pay more than expected for tickets, and somehow thinks those who live nearby, the game meant nothing to us.

For the first time since I graduated, I don't have season tickets for anything. Life and age got in the way. I'm the past I had tickets for many sports and have away many tickets I couldn't use. Never had an issue and most often got a message after the event thanking me and letting me know how much the tickets were appreciated

Yes that happen and trust me either my tix go to people i know or the get unused. By people I know, i mean clients, friends, family no matter who they cheer for.
Check my posting history… many many many basketball, football and baseball tix have been given away day of the event… never again

I am sorry people come out of the woodwork for the biggest series of the year and want tickets at the last minute. Any of you could have bought tickets at the beginning of the season for face value without a seat price and or donation attached.

And anyone could have gitten cheaper tickets last night when the weather dropped the value to see a great extra inning pitchers duel but for those who want great seats in great weather between two top 5 teams might have to pay a premium for that

On a side note...still looking for tickets to potential Game 7 Stars vs Avs for face value...I havent had anyone offer me those

I have season tickets in football and basketball and live 2 states away so I didn't just come out of the woodwork buddy. I happen to be a fan of all Aggie sports and post regularly on baseball game threads and just wanted to go to the game since I'm in town visiting my mother. I don't mind paying a premium but I do feel like I'm getting hosed a little and wanted to vent. So here I am venting

I mean, what did you pay? Tickets to any of the SEC series have been pretty high if you aren't getting GA tickets.

I did. You have shown up sporadically for the game threads this season- mostly just SEC series. Again, I wouldn't say you were a regular poster on them, but maybe that's just me.
