Schloss' interview about this was really good. Worth checking out.

- they've been talking getting Earley in the dugout for a long time
- there's not a great deal of coaching 1B anyway (a hint of sarcasm in this one)
- Ryan is an elite human being, he knows the offense and the signs and he'll be ready to go when we need him in the field.
