Targac has more power in his bat. Other than that I wouldn't say he's a better hitter than Kent at the moment.

Exit velocity is great can't find a hole. Same problem he had last year until he had a bloop drop then proceeded to start hitting bombs in last week and playoffs.

I'll buy this at least. He has 15 Ks in 35 at bats, though. So he's not even getting exit velocity half the time.

By comparison, Kent has 9 in 54 ABs.

Ok, let me add the dreaded "potential" word. I'm just echoing Coach's words that he's clearly the better offensive player and that Kent isn't quite as tooled up as the other options. Anyway, I want the best 9 to play and trust the staff to make the best decisions whoever that is.

I like Targac, but he can't hit a breaking ball. I would rather have Kent or somebody else batting at this point. Targac has had plenty of time. The dude is a senior.
