Jason came in to relieve Nate in Game 1 last week and shut down A&M (6 IP, 2 ER). And I would say he didn't think he'd be called in that early.
Don't let one bad outing fool you. Nate had 3 more wins this year than Lane, and an ERA about the same.
Rob, playing for second? When you're walking batters, throwing wild pitches, hitting guys at the plate and playing from behind, two things can happen:
You can get real sloppy, like the Razorbacks did, and let the game get away from you.
Or you can suck it up and come back, even if it is 5 runs in the first inning and you haven't hit yet.
This is baseball.
